Now you can use a medical grade Fetal Doppler in your own home, and listen to your unborn babies heart from 10 weeks, (some people have even been so lucky to hear baby at 8 weeks) allowing you to share the pregnancy with your partner, children, family and friends.
It is becoming increasingly recognised by the medical profession that it can be very beneficial for pregnant women to use a fetal doppler at home in between visits to their GP or hospital. This is particularly the case where mothers are anxious perhaps because they have previously had a difficult pregnancy or a miscarriage.

The Fetal Doppler monitor is of the same high quality as the one used by physicians for the past 30 years. The Fetal Doppler will detect your unborn baby's heartbeat as early as 10-12 weeks into your pregnancy. You can rest assured that Bumps2Kids sell only the safest of products, all our Dopplers are CE Certified, EN ISO 13485:2003 compliant and conform to UK and EC Medical Safety Requirements (Medical Directive 93/42/EEC), it has also been Registered with Medsafe in New Zealand.
To date there have been no case studies to suggest that using hand held fetal dopplers in pregnancy can harm your baby (they have been available for private use for many years in some countries). If you are at all concerned about this please consult your doctor and /or midwife before making your decision to hire.
The purpose of a hand-held fetal doppler is to find and confirm the fetal heartbeat by measuring blood flow which should take less than 7 minutes. Therefore we recommend using your doppler no more than 2-3 times weekly for less than 7 minutes per exam.
We are very pleased to be able to give New Zealand mums the chance to listen to their babies heartbeats (which is so huge in America, UK and Australia), we wanted to give you quality at an afforable price.
The Baby Doppler is a lightweight, portable unit which can give you the peace of mind that your baby is safe and well at all times throughout your pregnancy, wherever you may be. (although please always see your GP or midwife if you are concerned about the welfare of your baby).
There is no need to buy batteries, each doppler comes with rechargeable batteries already installed and a charger is included in each pack, thus providing a more cost effective option than others currently on the market.
